I am a member of the marketing team at Sesame Place but I am also a mommy who enjoys spending my time off from work playing with my own kids at this fabulous place. People will often say to me “wow your boys must think you are the coolest mommy in the world.” I don’t always feel cool when I have to leave my boys on the weekend to go to work but it is all worth it when I see my sons’ faces light up at the sight of Elmo, backstage with The Fresh Beat Band or flying high on Blast Off. I have come full circle at this place, playing as a kid myself in the 80’s, working here for nearly 10 years and now raising my own kids amongst these furry friends. I have so many fond memories of my childhood here and I love being along for the journey watching as my boys experience it every summer. Yes! I am a cool mom with a pretty cool job and I look forward to sharing my personal and professional experiences here with you on the Sesame Place Blog.
