Employee Spotlight: Rodney

He’s Big, He’s Awesome, and He’s Rodney from our Human Resources department. If you already work here, at Sesame Place, then you have probably met our team member Rodney. His out-of-this-world personality and passion for the job make him this week’s employee spotlight!

Rodney has been working at Sesame Place for six seasons starting in the park in Operations and now as a Human Resources Representative. Currently he is attending Temple University and he is majoring in Marketing.

Dog Days are Here!

Woof Woof Woof!

This week Sesame Place employees were able to bring their favorite four legged friends to work! That’s right we had an employee dog day here in the offices of Sesame Place. Employees were able to bring their dogs to the office in exchange for making a donation to the United Way. This is the first time that Sesame Place is ever having a “Bring your Dog to work day.” Sesame Place is also the first theme park in SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment to have this event.

Happy Days Start With High Fives

In honor of National High Five day, the third Thursday in April, the finance department decided to recognize the year-round team members. Each team member received an individual “high five” in the form of a clapper that was given out Thursday morning before they arrived at work. The idea was to give the team members a happy start to their day and to show them that finance thinks they’re all doing a great job. This is just one of the ways we recognize and reward our team members throughout the year.

Max & Ruby Musical Playdate

Reservations recently went live for Max & Ruby’s Musical Playdate at Sesame Place this fall, so I thought it would be a great time to recap the group’s springtime performance at the park.

The shows included musical numbers—including their famous theme song and other original songs.

Check out one of the show's musical numbers here:
