That's right! Even more dogs came to Sesame Place this week as part of the United Way Campaign.
Woof Woof Woof!
This week Sesame Place employees were able to bring their favorite four legged friends to work! That’s right we had an employee dog day here in the offices of Sesame Place. Employees were able to bring their dogs to the office in exchange for making a donation to the United Way. This is the first time that Sesame Place is ever having a “Bring your Dog to work day.” Sesame Place is also the first theme park in SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment to have this event.

Over exposure to UV rays from the sun can result in sunburn and can lead to more serious health problems including skin cancer and eye damage.

The hope of this awareness campaign is to bring attention to the importance of making healthy and informed food choices. This year’s theme is “Get Your Plate in Shape.”
As part of the Sesame Cares program I was invited to participate in Hopewell Valley Central High School’s Teen Wellness Day. I had the opportunity to provide education about teen dating violence in collaboration with Liz Claiborne’s Love is Not Abuse program. At the table I handed out educational booklets and key chains donated by Liz Claiborne and with my daughter's assistance put together a poster that provided signs, facts, and a quiz about teen dating violence.
